June 22, 2009 SCS Voice is back
When I changed the name of my web page from SCS Voice to Kathy's World, I fully intended to "retire" from commenting on the political and use my web page for personal things. I'm working on my family tree and thought I'd use it for that and as a way to share my other interest. While it may not seem so, I do have other interest.
But, I just kept using it as a political sound off site and thought I might as well go back to the original title, "SCS Voice". Now, I can't guarantee that I will always be timely with columns and opinions, but I will do the best I can to stay current.
And you can rest assured that even if you don't regularly 'hear' from me, I'll be watching what is going on in our City and when I can I will comment on it, either in person at city hall or through SCS Voice.
So, to all those who have taken the challenge to go before council, to write letters to the editor, to talk with your friends and neighbors about what is happening in our city, a hearty well done. Keep up the good work. And if you have anything you want to contribute to this site, I'd be happy to consider it. Just send it as an attachment using the Contact Me link. All I request is your be willing to sign it.
And for those who have expressed your concern about me and my family, thank you so much. Your prayers and thoughts are greatly appreciated. As someone much better than I can ever hope to be once said, "Ye are the salt of the earth."
