THESE IDIOTS IN CONGRESS WERE ON THEIR WAY TO PASSING THIS LEGISLATION AND IT'S A SAFE BET THAT NOT ONE OF THEM HAS ACTUALLY READ IT!
We better wake up and get on our telephones and computers and start yelling "NO" at the top of our lungs. Better yet, let's get a million person march to Washington going so that when Congress comes back after their August recess, they can hear LOUD and CLEAR that we do not want -- or need -- this most massive, costly and SCARY intrusion into our lives. THIS IS THE BIGGEST LIE EVER TOLD TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND IT MUST BE STOPPED. IF YOU CAN'T GO TO WASHINGTON, THEN GO TO ANY TOWN HALL MEETINGS your representatives might have and tell them NO WAY ARE THEY GOING TO DESTROY THE BEST HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IN THE WORLD AND TAKE YOUR RIGHTS TO MAKE YOUR OWN HEALTH CARE CHOICES AWAY.
Try to read through this -- and it is just ONE piece of the entire legislation -- and you will be shocked and amazed. Your health care "choice" will be NO CHOICE. Before this is done, there will not be ONE AREA our lives that will not be controlled by Washington, DC. Just look at other legislation which will have to be 'changed' in order to take our HEALTH CARE and other life choices OUT OF OUR HANDS: EDUCATION BILLS, LABOR AND PENSION BILLS, FINANCE BILLS (but who cares, about financing, we're going to "soak the rich" ).
Need 'emergency heart surgery?'...forget it. No such thing. You'll find yourself waiting and probably dying before your doctor, assuming you can find one, WOULD GET AN APPROVAL TO SEE you.
Want your ailing father to get prostrate cancer treatment? Well, maybe...depends on how old he is...does he 'smoke', does he 'eat the wrong foods?' WILL THE COST OUTWEIGH THE 'BENEFITS' OF KEEPING HIM ALIVE?
Have an 85 years old grandmother with diabetic induced gangrene? Well, just give her a pain pill, have a 'government mediator' come in to discuss ' "end of life" choices with her -- and buy the burial plot.
Have a critically ill child? No more running off to Children's Hospital in the middle of the night...forget it. Unless some bureaucrat in Washington says okay, your child will die! Maybe you'll get an appointment six months down the road!
These are the facts behind this legislation. And THIS the reason Obama was in such a rush to get it passed is because he and his co-horts in crime -- and yes, I believe what they are doing is criminal -- know that the more you learn about this legislation the MORE you will resist it.
If you want to know how bad it is, JUST KNOW that CONGRESS, the PRESIDENT and all FEDERAL EMPLOYEES, will BE EXEMPT FROM BEING FORCED INTO THIS CARE, so while you and I are dying in hallways waiting to see an ever diminishing number of doctors or are waiting two, three, four months, or one, two, or three years for TREATMENT, they will have their very own, elitist system.
Look, we have the best health care system in the world. We have the best doctors in the world. How many people do you see going to England or Canada to get their health care? Where do 'world leaders' come when they want the 'best'? HERE! AMERICA!
WE have already allowed this Congress to sell us out with the "Climate Bill"; a jobs killer. The myth of all the jobs created by the so-called stimulus plan is just that -- a MYTH. If this legislation passes, we might as well forget any idea about personal duties and responsibilities and just sit back and wait to die.
As I wrote back in 2007, October 27: Obama, The Socialist Savior, when I was scared to death that Obama would be elected: "We are about to witness the total gutting of the document which has for over 232 years guaranteed each and every one of us rights and freedoms no other nation in the world -- before or since it was written -- have built into a legal document to protect it's citizens from an over-reaching, powerful government.
The ONLY parallel I can draw is Nazi Germany. I know there are many who would think I'm nuts, but look at the parallels:
1. Create economic havoc.
2. Create class 'warfare'
3. Stifle opposition.
4. Pander to the masses with promises of 'better days ahead'.
5. Use the media to present your 'vision' in glowing terms.
We are seeing the perfect storm in process and I can guarantee you that if elected, our democratic republic will face the most serious challenge in our history. We will face an internal strife which we have not seen since the days of the Revolutionary War.
What is at stake in this election goes far beyond today and the results will decide whether we continue to be a 'shining city on the hill' or whether we will allow ourselves to become sheep.
The choice is clear. "
